Animal Farm Commandments 1/26/18

The Seven Commandments are

  • “Whatever goes  upon two legs is an enemy.” I believe that this rule would be good for the animals because the animal took over Mr. Jones’s farm. Yes I do see problems arising with this commandment because I think that some humans will notice that the animals are out of hand or will be out of hand so they will try and the humans will try and take over the animal farm.
  • “Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend.” I think this commandment is a good rule to live by because humans do not have wings and they only have two legs, so this means all the animals that have four legs or wings means they are friends with all the other animals. Humans can not be friends with any of the animals. I do not see any problems arising with this commandment.
  • “No animals shall wear clothes. ” I agree with this commandment because I feel like the animals on the animal farm would feel hurt when they see animals wearing the humans clothes. I see problems arising with this commandment because if and when the animals wear clothes the other animals will be mad.
  • “No animals shall sleep in the bed.” I think this commandment is a good rule if there would be enough beds for all  the animals
  • to sleep in a bed instead of just the pigs.
  • ” No animal shall drink alcohol.” This is a good rule because they are animals and they shouldn’t be drinking alcohol.
  • “No animal shall kill any other animal.” This is a good rule because the animals went against the humans together so they can’t go against each other.
  • “All animals are equal.” This is good a rule for the pigs because they trick everyone to make them think that everyone is equal, really the pigs are above everyone but none of the animals know that. I see problems arising with this because I feel like some animals will notice that the pigs are above everyone else.
